BACKGROUND
Oil & Vinegar... is a culinary giftshop concept store.
It originated in The Netherlands in 1999; it has since expanded to 70+ stores in 13 countries around the world, including the Netherlands, Germany, England, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, France, Sweden, Denmark, Dubai, South Africa, USA & Australia.
Hence, it is already a multi-national franchising business.
In 2006, O & V Australasia Pty Ltd (O&V) acquired the Master Franchise License for Oil & Vinegar for Australia & New Zealand. This license entitles O&V Australasia Pty Ltd use of the “Oil & Vinegar” business name & trademarks, the business & business systems in both Australia & New Zealand.
Oil & Vinegar is a highly dedicated and professional company with clear objectives and a strong understanding of its particular market and the growth potential within it.
Oil & Vinegar is NOW one of the most exciting new franchise opportunities in Australia.
THE STORE CONCEPT
Oil & Vinegar is already a successful formula.
It is best described as a retail culinary gift shop combining an exciting range of high quality gourmet food & non-food products from all over the world, including Australia. The products are geared towards a broad range of consumers, who appreciate the “good things in life”.
The core idea behind the product range is that the products should make worthy gifts…be surprising & interesting... with good quality & value for money. This forms the basis for our unique store concept.
There are no comparative concept stores (i.e. culinary/gourmet gift shop) like it.

All of your senses will be stimulated by the delicious presentation of our vast selection of culinary products. Furthermore, many of the products on display can be sampled in the shop, which makes choosing a very special experience. Even the wrapping is carried out with the utmost care, so that you can always be sure that your gift is both original and festively presented.
All stores will have an innovative floor-plan & design offering a large range of high quality food & non-food products, as well as showcasing their illuminated amphora wall. The innovative shop design, with its open character, is very inviting and most customers come back time and time again to Oil & Vinegar.

Our illuminated amphora wall showcases over 20 different oils & vinegars.
Customers can select their favourite oils and/or vinegars and have them poured into bottles of their choice by our helpful staff.
